Abfectin Expi293 transfection kit
The AbFectin transfection kit is designed for high levels of protein transient expression in Expi293 cells (ThermoFisher), and subsequent high-yield protein production from the transfected cells. The kit is specially optimized for secreted antibody expression and purification, including conventional antibodies and various antibody formats such like bispecific antibodies. The kit is also proven to be highly efficient for the transient expression and purification of other intracellular and secreted proteins.
Examples of protein overexpression using Abfectin transfection kit on Expi293 cells. Left, Expi293 cells were transfected with either ExpiFectamine or Abfectin to overexpress HER2 protein. Middle, Expi293 cells were transfected with either ExpiFectamine or Abfectin to overexpress an antibody. Right, Expi293 cells were transfected with either ExpiFectamine or Abfectin to overexpress a Mw 300kd bispecific antibody. In each experiment 20¦Ěl cell culture medium was used for non-reduced SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
